Premier Inn Stratford-Upon-Avon Waterways

Everything fine except for the check in. Hotel insisted that the rooms had not been paid for in advance and that to gain access i would have to pay at the desk I have therefore paid twice for the same booking I have tried Premier Inns complaints line but end up in an endless wild goose chase and no help

Really enjoyed our stay here. The food was lovely and the rooms clean The TV had loads of channels to choose from. The shower was amazing with a waterfall head and a hand shower too. The purple lighting option in the bathroom is a great idea to leave on during the night. Windows do not open but the aircon works perfectly. The restaurant overlooks the canal and we saw swans, signets and even an otter. The walk alongside the canal is lovely. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. They are really busy and have to do a lot of different jobs, working front of house and bar and restaurant all at the same time. They all found time to have a little chat and make sure everything was OK. There were a few difficult guests yet the staff managed to keep a smile on their faces and tried to help in any way they could. They definitely need to be paid more and for there to be more staff.

Waited at the (completely empty) bar for 5 minutes, even though the barman clearly noticed me. He just kept chatting with staff, showing no urgency whatsoever to serve me. Again, the place was entirely empty, not like he was busy. He asked for ID, which is fair enough! But then commented that I… “ looked older than him” (he claimed he was 30) and that he had to check because of police in the area. Odd, considering he definitely looked older than me 😂 He looked like an overweight bowling ball with tacky ear piercings stuck in it. I ordered a Stella. His reply? “That’s what all the underage kids order.” Charming! The pint itself was flat, warm, and poured into a generic, non-nucleated glass. Not the classic Stella glass! Lovely experience! Will definitely pop in again sometime…

This is a very nice Premier Inn branch, in a convenient location, and only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The room was excellent, and very clean. A nice walk in shower with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable as always. If I was being ultra fussy, I would just say that for me personally, the pillows were too firm, but many people may prefer this. The staff were friendly. I only paid £41 for two people for a night's stay, and just over £20 for breakfast for two. It was £7 for overnight parking. You just can't complain at these prices, I don't know how they do it. I highly recommend this place.

Feom when i arrived the staff are amazing from the manager to the cheff everyone is so friendly and welcoming and make you feel like your at home. Food is good love the chicken and pull ham pie 10/10 the chefs do a great job Room are very nice clean and just had a refit last yeah, This is one of the best around Stratford-upon-Avon, stayed at others close by and waterways it the top of our list by a mile, Many thanks to all the staff amazing
